Transformers and Rectifiers (India) on Thursday announced that it has bagged an order worth Rs 565 crore from the Power Grid Corporation of India. The order entails that the company manufactures and supplies the transformers and reactors with range of 80 MVAr to 500 MVA and 420kV to 765 kV Class.
“We would like to inform you that Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited has secured orders of Rs 565 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited,” it said in a regulatory filing. The order is expected to be completed in FY26.
“The company is committed to delivering high-quality products and services and has established itself as a leading manufacturer of transformers in the country over time,” the company further added.
Earlier in September, Transformers & Rectifiers India had secured orders worth Rs 114 crore from RRVPNL for making power transformers of 50 MVA, 132/33 KV.
Moreover, in August, it had bagged an order for transformers with a total contract value of Rs 91 crore from SPIL. This order was for making transformers with a range of 50 to 500 MVA and 33 kV Class to 420 kV Class. Another order for transformers was received from KEPIPL with a total contract value of Rs 70 crore.
