Vietnamese conglomerate T&T Group and Singaporean consultancy firm CPG Corporation have proposed an urban-commerce-service-logistics-aviation industry complex covering 3,400 hectares in the central province of Quang Tri.
The two firms delivered their suggestion at a meeting with Quang Tri authorities on Tuesday. The complex, within Dong Nam Quang Tri Economic Zone, will include an industry-energy park, a seaport, an eco-tourism resort, a modern agricultural area, and an airport. It will also feature three residential areas and five functional zones.

The two companies suggested suitable industrial sectors for the complex, such as renewable energy, green industry, logistics, processing of farm produce, supporting industries, fisheries, and information technology (IT).
Addressing the meeting, Quang Tri’s acting Chairman Ha Sy Dong said he supported the project, but asked the investors to finalize details in line with the master plans of the province and the country.
T&T Group is making various investments in Quang Tri province. A major project is the 1,500-MW Hai Lang Power Center. The $2.3 billion project’s investor is a consortium comprising South Korea’s Hanwha Energy, Korea Gas (Kogas) and Korea Southern Power (Kospo); and Vietnam’s T&T Group.
The project held a groundbreaking ceremony for its technical component in January 2022, but little progress had been made since. The project investor aims to restart construction in January 2026.
